Serve Boys & Girls Club as an AmeriCorps Member

AmeriCorps is a unique opportunity to serve your community, earn money for college and develop a lifetime ethic of service. Corps Members participate in team building activities to empower them to address critical needs in the community. If you want to impact communities, schools and the youth of Greater Baton Rouge while earning a college stipend or an educational award, you should consider joining AmeriCorps.

AmeriCorps Members - Complete 300 hours of service
Service term: August 2016 - December 2016
  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
  • Attend mandatory pre-service orientation
  • Available Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Available to serve August 16 - December  30
  • Complete 300 hours of service
  • Total stipend: $2,700
  • Educational award: $1212.44 after completing term of service
