Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge in the News

Honoree Social Hosted by Club CEO

Boys & Girls Club held its second annual Great Futures Honoree Social on Thursday, November 9 at the home of the Boys & Girls Club CEO, Pat Van Burkleo. The social is an opportunity for this year’s Honorees to get to know each other, as well as Boys & Girls Club staff and board members.

This year the Club recognizes 14 honorees: Katherine Clements, Ian Dallimore, Lauren De Witt, Rowdy Gaudet, Sarah Joy Hays, Jacob Jolibois, Bridget Kaigler, Allie McAlpin, Kelley McCann, Kenny Nguyen, Candace Parker, Theodore Richards, Michael Victorian and Ryan Zumo. This class of 15 Great Futures Gala Honorees represent movers and shakers in our community who are on a path to achieving a great future all while giving back and making the community a better place.

Each honoree has committed to raising funds to support Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge and it’s mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The 2018 Great Futures Gala Planning Committee includes Ryan Allen, Chelsey Laborde Blankenship, Helen Butts, Ryan Byrd, Joe Cefalu, Brittany Ernest, Jordan Faircloth, Lani Gholston, Todd Hymel, Sunny Mayhall-West, Jennifer O’Connell, Dorothy Kemp, Ben Vance and Lauren Westbrook.
